Even though the field of tea research
is comparatively very young and
majority of the research has been
conducted over green tea. Besides
green tea, researchers and scientists
have diversified and started exploring
the health benefits of black tea as
well. The main difference between
green tea and black leaf tea is that,
the later is put through fermentation
process. The process of fermentation
converts the antioxidants present
into other compounds, which
provides different but no less health
benefits than green tea.
