The Boutenko Family is dedicated to helping people around the world learn about
natural healing and nutrition.  They provide information about natural health and the
raw food diet by writing books, making films, and presenting health lectures.  In
1994, the members of the Boutenko Family experienced an intense decline in health.
They were faced with numerous health problems including juvenile diabetes, obesity,
hyper thyroidism, chronic fatigue, asthma, allergies and several other conditions.  
They began to research nutrition and after switching over to a healthful way of
eating, they were able to fully reverse their symptoms and regain their health.  Since
then, the Boutenko family has been dedicated to educating people about a healthier
way of eating.  

Victoria Boutenko started the Green Smoothie revolution with her first book about
green smoothies titled,
Green for Life (originally published in 2005).  She's published  
several other books since then and also teaches classes worldwide about the raw
food diet and nutrition.  You can learn more about the raw food diet and other health

Recipe


Ingredients:

1 Handful Spinach
1 Handful Parsley
3 Celery Stalks
1/2 of Spicy Pepper (chili pepper)
1/2 Avocado (peel and pit removed)
5 Small Tomatoes (or 2 large tomatoes)
Lemon Juice from 1/2 of a Lemon
Some Water (approx. 1 cup, add more or less if necessary)
Edible Flowers to Decorate (optional)



Directions:

Put tomatoes in blender.  Add spinach and parsley.  Chop celery and add to the
blender.  Add spicy pepper.  Add avocado.  Add lemon juice.  Add some water and
blend until smooth.  Decorate with edible flowers (optional). For best results, drink
immediately (soon after it's made).
