How Can Chocolate Help You Lose Weight?

But for more fun... there are more ways to do this if you don't want to go that
basic.
- Select dark chocolate over milk chocolate candy. Milk chocolate will have too
much sugar and other ingredients. Not enough chocolate to act as an appetite
suppressant. The high sugar content will just encourage more cravings for
sweets which puts on more weight.
- If you enjoy making your own treats, you'll have total control over your
ingredient selection. Just eliminate the typical sweeteners. I use stevia (non-
bitter kind).
- If you are into healthy foods, go for the raw organic cacao nibs and raw organic
cacao powder as your main ingredients. You'll get the added benefits of all the
super nutrients with their own enzymes.
Here's my basic recipe I began with for our special chocolate treats:
- 6 Tbsp Raw Certified Organic Cacao Nibs
- 3 Tbsp Raw Certified Cacao Powder
- 9 Tbsp Raw Certified Mesquite Powder - set aside 6 Tbsp for blending later.
- 2/3 cup of Liquid: Coconut Water or Good Water
- 2 to 3 Tbsp Fat: Raw Organic Coconut Oil
- 1/4 tsp Natural Sweetener: Stevia - the amount will vary depending on
individual taste and kind of sweetener.
- 2 or 3 drops Flavoring: Organic or Therapeutic Peppermint Essential Oil
Just grind the nibs in a blender with the cacao powder and a little of the mesquite.
Set aside and blend the liquid and oil together.
Add the dry ingredients a tablespoon at a time while blending.
Finish with sweetener and flavoring to taste.
You may have to juggle the liquid and the mesquite at the end to get the right
consistency. I like it the consistency of a pudding. After putting it in the fridge, it will
thicken so you can have to your liking.
The trick to creating the best tasting chocolate treat ever is selecting the highest
quality ingredients. I always go for raw and organic. And, the mesquite powder
should be very finely ground for a very smooth and creamy chocolate treat.
When you really enjoy the chocolate and it's the healthiest you can get, it's easy to
eat it every day (without eating too much). Just eat it at the right time while
satisfying those crazy cravings.
Good luck.

I've observed a lot about our food choices over the last 40 years. My favorite
surprise this Century has to do with Chocolate. You'll find a lot of information here
because it's probably the best all around food to know the real truth about.
Chocolate is an appetite suppressant,
plus... there are actually many
chemical compounds in the raw
organic cacao beans that add a
tremendous amount of available,
healthy nutrients when eaten in their
raw state.
Eat a little before your heaviest meal
and end up eating less. Just buy a
package of raw organic cacao beans
and eat a few before your meals. Be
sure to buy the skinless cacao beans
as the skins can contain bad bacteria
and fungi. If you want the skins on,
just find cacao beans that are
