The second thing trans fats do is effect the body at it's deepest levels by effecting the
cells. What can happen is that the cells become blocked by this fat and makes it hard
for them to absorb nutrients. If this happens in the body, it can make those cell

Many countries have banned these fats from use. If not, many have suggested to
severely limit eating this type of food.

As a consumer, be aware of which foods have this product in it and avoid it at all

eat there. Most places have been able to replace trans fats with other types of fats
keeping a similar taste while not hurting those who eat the food as much.

For personal home use, look into cooking with healthier oils like olive oil versus using
butters and other things to cook with. These changes will not only help prevent trans
fat issues but keep you away from other effects of fats that are not good for the
body such as weight gain.
