How to Treat Diabetes Naturally - This is the Best Way to
Treat Diabetes Without Medication! by Nicole K. Smith
The ideal management of the disease would be to actually prevent it from happening
in the first place. In the past decades, there have been spectacular advances in
understanding the causes of this condition, but there are still many things we do not
know. In particular, scientists haven't yet discovered the cause of the failure of small
beta cells that produce insulin in the pancreas. Even though, they have identified the
genes that predispose patients to this damage, the factors that trigger the process
still remain unclear. However, when they manage to answer these questions it will be
possible to "fix" these genes and prevent the onset of diabetes in people who are at
high risk. Unfortunately, we have many more years until we get to that point.
As far as non-insulin dependent diabetes is concerned, we already know that weight
control and regular exercise reduce the chances of developing the disease.
Can diabetes be treated?
Many patients ask, if they could cure the disease through transplant. If we could
isolate small beta cells that produce insulin and transplant them to patients that have
defective genes, then the insulin production in the patient's body could be restored.
There have been many studies in this area, but the main problem is the rejection of
transplanted cells. Moreover, collecting these cells from the donor's pancreas is
difficult and time consuming and we could never find enough of these cells to cover
all patients in the world.
So, what can you do about it?
Changing your lifestyle is the best thing you can do in order to keep diabetes under
control.
The type of diet you should follow when you are a diabetic is not necessarily a
restrictive diet. You should just eat more foods that are good for you and minimize
those that are not so good for you - which is also the diet recommended by experts
for all people, whether suffering from this condition or not.
Another thing to remember is that if you want to keep your blood sugar levels under
control you should eat small and regular meals. In general, it would be a good idea to
eat a meal or a snack every 3-4 hours throughout the day.

If you really want to , you can just to find out how!
Diabetes is a condition that has
assumed epidemic proportions in
today's world. The modern lifestyle
that includes poor dietary choices and
lack of exercise contributes to the
occurrence of this disease.
Apart from the millions of people who
are already aware of the fact that
they suffer from diabetes, there are
many others who have this disease
and don't know about it. Many more
suffer from pre-diabetes, which is a
state of high blood glucose that
precedes diabetes.
