harsh chemicals. It is known to effectively kill germs, mold, and bacteria and is highly
cost effective. Cleaning and disinfecting is as easy as adding a few capfuls of white
distilled vinegar into soapy water. You can clean a toilet bowl by pouring in a cup or
more of diluted white distilled vinegar into the bowl and letting it sit overnight.
One-fourth cup of vinegar in a quart of water makes an excellent window cleaner. In
fact, there is virtually a means to use vinegar as a cleaning agent in any part of your
home.

Another homemade cleaning product is lemon, which offers a true organic product
cleaning. Lemons, like vinegar, possess some antibacterial properties. In addition,
lemons also have some antiseptic properties as well. Lemon is considered a natural
bleaching agent. Stains on white clothing and linens will disappear if lemon juice is
placed on the stain and the clothing or linen is allowed to dry in the sun. Taking just
three to four tablespoons of lemon juice, mixing it in a bowl with a cup of water, and
placing it on high in your microwave for a few minutes can make cleaning your
microwave as easy as simply wiping down the inside with a dish towel. Lemons can
be used in giving aluminum a glossy shine by taking half a lemon and scrubbing the
aluminum with one half of the lemon. There are a variety of ways that lemons can be
used as a natural cleaning agent in your home.

In fact, there are a great deal of natural cleaning tips a person can use to keep their
home environmentally safe and sound. Baking soda can be used to clean silver by
combining one cup of baking soda into boiling water. Mixing one cup of water with
two tablespoons of baking soda can remove crayon and ink markings off a wall.

Even a household mineral that's as common as salt can be used as a mild stain
remover by soaking the stained garments overnight in saltwater. Salt is also known
to remove coffee and tea stains from a coffee pot. This stain removal is as simple as
mixing ice, water, and salt in a coffee or tea pot and gentling moving the pot in a
circular motion until clean. Adding a cup of salt to your laundry can even work as a
low cost, chemical free fabric softener.

The use of natural cleaning recipes is a cost effective, environmentally sound, and
extraordinarily easy. Utilizing these chemical- free tools for cleaning eliminates a
considerable risk to the environment. It also eliminates a considerable risk to people
using chemical cleaners and the people who are indirectly exposed to them because
of their use. There are also products you can purchase that are safe to use for your
home and around pets.
